With this release, HFR sets aside her soundscape vistas, but avoids overcompensation toward the brutal by careful
construction of pieces in a 'stream of consciousness' form.
Yes, there are elements of the soundscape/brutal here,
but everything is placed carefully, as if hung on layers of gossamer to build each scene. Throwing in the occasional
spoken word piece (they take you by surprise) and even a sampled antifa song from WWII, this album is all over the
place and yet remains thematic in sound and texture.

Hyaena Fierling Reich is an Avant Garde/Noise artist hailing from Portugal.
With a background in film production and musicology, she is constantly pushing the envelope; trying to push things forward.
With Keraunometra, she covers much ground, from avant noise to spoken word poetry, to immense, panoramic soundscapes, all the while
showcasing her signature sound.
A sound that challenges the listener as to the nature of music.

Née Ana Cordeiro Reis, Lisboa 1977.
Develops work in the field of sound action since 1999 as composer and investigator in the field of sound dynamics; dedicates herself to experimental/improvised/noise
music since 1996.
Her work is based on improvisation and experimentation, involving the capture of sounds and soundscapes (field work) as well as programming and editing (based on
the canons of film sound) of sound sequences originated from unorthodox sound sources - wood and metal objects, stones, different instruments (prepared bass guitar,
Hexluth - electrified luth, Moog and Micro Korg synths) or the exploration of sound possibilities in spaces with uncanny acoustic characteristics - the same sound
sequences at a later time edited and sequenced according to soundtrack assemblage composition, breaking the borders of experimental sound and music in filmic space.
